With the cycles 4d starter pack, I find that many of the materials do not look good when applied because they don't match the scale of the objects I have modeled vs how they were built I guess.
With the Beech Floor material, how can I scale down the flooring to make each board look much smaller? When I change the tiles U & V on the tag it doesn't do anything.
Pipe your Texture Tag vector (or UV Map vector) through a Mapping node, you can scale down your mapping coordinates there
Ah ok. And it doesn't matter that it only gets fed into Vector X? Then scaling down Scale X, Scale Y & Scale Z would make the flooring smaller?
Sorry won't be at computer again for a bit so just wanted to clarify before I hop in and giver a go.
