The place to talk about X-Particles and Cycles 4D
PeekCS, October 7 in Fluids
If you use to Fluid FX water Body, often the problem is that fluid particles explode or sink to the bottom.
By trail and error I figured out that particle with a Radius of 2 and a spacing of 95% is the sweet spot for creating a stable fluid pool.
But know I want to higher the fluid simulation quality by lowering the radius to 1 (or lower), but I can't find the right spacing.
Can someone explain the logic behind density controle in X-particles?

In your fluid solver under 'Object' and 'advanced' try checking 'check density' and see if that helps.
That is regularly used in tutorials with fluids to aviod/lessen "explosions".
And I thought that if using 'Regular' or 'Hexagonal' emission mode, you wouldn't need to worry about spacing because those modes do that automatically. You should be able to just set the particle size you want and the emitter object should fill up, but not intersect.
