When I render elements with an "object ID" for an object buffer, the object buffer has jagged edges. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you for your help.
I don't have a direct answer, but have you tried crypto matte as an alternative?
I've tried, but I couldn't figure out how to get that one to work. But I'll try again, thank you.
I'm sorry I'm not here to help you with this issue. Instead I bring a new one.
Do you know why my "Objects ID" passes are always with a heavy noise, only inside the white area? I've tried increasing the samples.
I have the same issue. Jagged edges on all of my black/white renders of object ID-s. Any solutions please?
The solution is don't use render elements. They aren't antialiased or denoised, so are useless. Learn about the recently introduced AOVs and use them instead, and/or cryptomattes
Oh, and report the render elements problems as bugs using the Cycles 4D "Report Bug" feature, so Insydium know about it
