Fill Mode using Cycles4D?

In the old XP material. There is a fill section that allows you to increase your particles at render time. For instance, 100,000 particles changed to 1,000,000.
I couldn't see any demonstration of this in Cycles4D since there is no specific XP material. 

Is there a way around this?
